Client Brief

Furiosa needed the collection that would carry the brand through its first years, from 2025 to 2027. Unisex frames for the Czech market, mainstream, the kind people buy without much hesitation and then wear every day. They were to follow the trends, and they needed one small thing that belongs only to Furiosa, small enough that nobody notices it at first.

Design

The collection starts with a simple question: what happens when a frame is two frames at once? Each model is drawn from two versions of the same shape, two rectangles, two aviators, two cat-eyes, each slightly different from the other and laid one over the other. The front is what remains where they overlap. From a distance it is a frame you already know. Closer, the line begins to move. On one side the edge lifts, on the other it stays clean, and a square corner turns into a drop.

The temples are made the same way. Two profiles cross, and the chamfer is the trace of where they meet. It is the one detail repeated across the whole collection, and the way it is recognised from the side.

The idea also answers the brief on its own. A frame made from two versions of itself does not have to decide whether it is masculine or feminine. It is simply a frame, and it takes its character from the person who wears it.

The core collection for captures the chemistry between opposites — the slow collision of two shapes that mold into one another until the boundary disappears.
